In partnership with the King Township Public Library (KTPL) and York Region Arts Council (YRAC), the King Heritage & Cultural Centre (KHCC) is proud to present an event in honour of National Indigenous Peoples Day on June 21 from 10:00am to 12:00pm. Join us as we celebrate the heritage, diverse cultures and outstanding achievements of Indigenous people through artistic expression and community participation.
The day will include the unveiling of a York Region Trail Marker by Indigenous artist Donald Chretien, readings from the KTPL Indigenous Book Club, participation in the Canadian Library Project and participation in the King Township Pollinator Community Art Project.
Admission is free. All are welcome.
