From the whirl of carnival rides to the sound of live music and the smell of fair‑style favourites, the unofficial start to the summer season is here! Celebrated annually for over 50 years, the Nobleton Victoria Day Fair and Fireworks Show, presented by event sponsor Tim Hortons, is happening on Monday, May 18 from noon to dusk at the Dr. William Laceby Nobleton Community Centre, located at 15 Old King Road.
All the cherished traditions you’ve come to know and love—the parade, mid-way rides, games, live music, artisans, food trucks and fireworks show—will go on, with some modifications due to the Nobleton Park Revitalization project.
Nobleton Park Revitalization project
As phase two of the Nobleton Park Revitalization project continues to take shape, vendor and entertainment spaces are being thoughtfully adjusted around ongoing construction of the park to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
Join the parade
Make it a festive start to your day by watching the annual Nobleton Victoria Day parade. The parade begins at 11 a.m. starting at the Nobleton Public Library, travelling south on Highway 27 and arriving at 15 Old King Road at noon, just in time for the start of the outdoor fair. Residents are invited to watch the parade from along the route.
Battle of the Bands
Get ready to watch competing acts perform 15-minute live sets during this year’s Battle of the Bands. The winning band will be selected live by the audience and will serve as the opening act for King Township’s Canada Day headliner.
Nobleton Victoria Day Fireworks
Fireworks begin at dusk and are presented by the Nobleton Firefighters Association from King Fire and Emergency Services with the show being credited as one of the best Victoria Day fireworks displays in Ontario. As the largest publicly funded fireworks show, the display relies on donations to support this long-standing community tradition. Tax receipts will be provided for donations of $20 or more.
