Are you between the ages of 13 and 18? Looking for volunteer hours for your high school requirement or trying to land your first part-time job? Want to explore a new activity outside of school? Join King Township and the Mayor’s Youth Action Team (MYAT) at the Youth Opportunity Fair on Friday, May 1 from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at Zancor Centre.
Enjoy free food and refreshments, drop-in sports, door prizes and meet with local businesses and community groups specializing in a range of interests, from arts, drama, sports, education, gardening, job skills and cosmetics. Speak one-on-one with King Township staff about environmental initiatives, recreation and aquatic programs and jobs opportunities, and meet with representatives from King Fire and Emergency Services, York Region, York Regional Police and York Region Educational Services.
