Help celebrate the unsung heroes in King Township—those who make the community a better place through their tireless work and selfless actions—by nominating them for a Volunteer Appreciation Award.
Nominations for the Volunteer Recognition Awards will be open February 1 to 28, annually.
2026 Award recipients will be celebrated during a special, invitation-only ceremony for family and friends, to be held at the King Township Municipal Centre on Thursday, April 23 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The awards ceremony will come during National Volunteer Week from April 19 to 25 and recognizes the vital role volunteers play in strengthening our community. Volunteering not only enriches the lives of those who give their time but also creates a more connected and supportive community for all.

How to submit your nomination
Submitting a nomination is an opportunity to highlight and celebrate the impact of those who continually give their time and energy to making a difference in King Township.
All nomination forms must be submitted online, in-person or via mail by the deadline of Saturday, Feb. 28 at 11:59 p.m.
