Third Party Advertisers

Third-party advertising refers to advertisements that support, promote or oppose a candidate, or support, promote or oppose a “yes” or “no” answer to a question on the ballot. The meaning of “third party” in this context means a person or entity who is not a candidate. If an Ontario resident, corporation, or trade union plans purchase ads, they must register (by appointment) as a Third Party Advertiser with the Clerk. Registration is open from May 1 to October 23.
