With the arrival of a Heat Warning, King Township is offering six cooling centres for residents to beat the heat, starting today (Monday, Jun. 23).
Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) has issued a Heat Warning for most of Ontario, including King Township.
Dangerously hot and humid conditions are expected Monday and Tuesday with possible relief forecast to arrive Wednesday. Daytime highs are expected to be 30 to 35 degrees Celsius with humidex values of 40 to 45.
