Outdoor recreation activities

Enjoy the great outdoors snowshoeing and cross-country skiing at Cold Creek Conservation Area, located in Nobleton. These activities are weather dependent, however, if there is no snow, King has an extensive trail network to explore with over 100 kilometres of public trails situated within the Township. Visit king.ca/trails to see detailed maps of the trail network.

King also has three outdoor skating rinks in King City, Nobleton and Schomberg. They are currently closed due to the recent mild temperatures; ice will be built and the rinks will open following a stretch of significantly colder weather. Visit king.ca/dropinprograms for up-to-date information regarding outdoor ice rinks.

King Township Public Library

The King Township Public Library will run a wide variety of programs at its three branches in King City, Nobleton and Schomberg.
