Take Notice that the Township of King’s Finance Department and Watson & Associates Economists Ltd. will be presenting an overview of an addendum to the Development Charges (DC) Background Study and Proposed DC By-law at the June 1, 2026, Council Meeting.
All interested parties are invited to attend the Council Meeting to learn more about the addendum to the DC Background Study and the Proposed DC By-law.
Meeting details:
When: Monday, June 1, 2026 at 6:00 p.m.
Where: Township of King Council Chambers at 2585 King Road, King City
How to Participate:
- View the meeting in-person or watch virtually at king.ca/meetings. No pre-registration is required.
- Submit written comments to the Township Clerk at clerks@king.ca by 12:00 p.m. (noon) on the day of the meeting. Comments will be circulated to Council and Staff prior to the meeting.
- To speak at the meeting, pre-register with the Township Clerk at 905-833-4068 or email clerks@king.ca no later than 12:00 p.m. (noon) on the day of the meeting. If you are pre-registering, you must indicate how you wish to participate (video, phone, or in-person), and provide your full name, address, telephone number. Upon receipt of your registration, you will receive a confirmation email with instructions for participating. All comments addressed to Council will form part of the public record.

And Take Further Notice that this notice serves to correct the Notice of Public Meeting Re: Development Charges Background Study and Proposed Development Charges By-law issued March 26, 2026, and that accordingly, the March 26 notice has been withdrawn.
