Following a detailed review of community use, the King Township Public Library is updating the hours of operations at the Nobleton and Schomberg branches with the following changes coming into effect on Monday, June 1:
- Nobleton branch will close at 5 p.m. on Tuesdays and will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Fridays.
- Schomberg branch will close at 5 p.m. on Thursdays and will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Fridays.
The review examined annual door count statistics and captured hourly user visits at each branch; included a digital and paper user experience survey that received 342 responses; and a month-long hourly observation of user activity within primary usage zones.
This community feedback provided valuable insight into how residents are using each branch with the updated hours helping to maximize services to better serve the community.
