Take Notice that the Council of the Corporation of the Township of King intends to consider amending a by-law under Section 36 of the Planning Act to remove the Holding (H) Symbol for the lands described below. The earliest Council will consider passage of the by-law is the Council Meeting on Monday, June 15, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. The purpose of this notice is to inform you of this intent and to invite you to hear Council’s decision on the matter.

The subject lands are located on the east side of Keele Street between Elizabeth Grove and Clearview Crescent in the Village of King City. The location of the lands is municipally known as 12765, 12781, 12789 Keele Street, 17 Elizabeth Grove and is legally described as Part Lot 46, Plan 532 and Lots 1, 2, 3 and 4 on Plan 459.
The subject property is zoned “Core Area - King City – Exception Section 7.5.2.15 – Holding (CAK-15(H))” under Zoning By-law 2017-66, as amended by Site Specific Zoning By-law 2022-037. The removal of the Holding (H) Symbol will, in part, facilitate the development of the lands for the construction of a five-storey mixed use building containing no more than 129 apartment dwelling units and no more than 625 square metres of commercial floor area.
