NOTICE OF INTENTION TO PASS AN AMENDING
BY-LAW TO REMOVE A HOLDING (H) SYMBOL

 At this time, Council/Committee meetings are being held virtually. This will be an electronic meeting held  remotely and live streamed via https://www.king.ca/meetings.

TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the Township of King intends to consider an amending By-law under Section 36 of the Planning Act to remove the Holding (H) symbol for the lands described below. The earliest Council will consider passage of the By-law is the Council Meeting on Monday, September 26th, 2022 at 6:00 p.m.

The subject property is located on the north side of James Stokes Court, west of Kinghorn Road in the Village of King City (see map below).

An Official Plan Amendment Application and Zoning By-law Amendment Application submitted by the applicant (File Nos. OP-2021-01 and Z-2021-01) were previously approved by the Township to facilitate four (4) residential lots. The subject land is subject to a Holding (H) provision. The Holding (H) provision is in place to ensure servicing allocation is addressed. Consent has since been conditionally approved through the Committee of Adjustment. The removal of the Holding (H) symbol will permit the development of the four detached dwellings.
