Take Notice that the Township of King has received a complete application for a proposed Zoning By-law Amendment, in accordance with Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter P.13, as amended, concerning lands located on east of Jane Street, north of King Road, west of Keele Street, and south of 15th Sideroad, municipally known as 22 Snowberry Lane and 32 Snowberry Lane.
The Planning Division has commenced processing the application. A Council Public Planning Meeting will be scheduled and held at a later date, with formal notice being provided pursuant to the statutory requirements of the Planning Act.
If you have received this notice as an owner of a property that contains seven (7) or more residential units, please post this notice in a visible location to all residents of the land.

Proposed Changes
The applicant has submitted a site-specific Zoning By-law Amendment Application to provide for the severance and lot boundary adjustment of two (2) existing lots (22 and 32 Snowberry Lane) to facilitate one (1) additional new lot. The purpose of the Zoning By-law Amendment application is to amend the minimum lot frontage and lot area requirements, as well as the maximum driveway width and minimum pervious surface provisions, within the ‘RE’ Zone for the subject lands and the newly proposed lot.
New single-detached dwellings are proposed for both 32 Snowberry Lane and the newly proposed lot.
The application proposes site-specific zoning provisions for each of the three lots. Lot 1, identified on the below site plan and municipally known as 22 Snowberry Lane, is proposed to have a minimum lot area of 7,387 m2 and a minimum lot frontage of 47.75 metres. Lot 2, which corresponds to 32 Snowberry Lane, is proposed to have a minimum lot area of 6,808.80 m2, a minimum lot frontage of 49.25 metres, and a maximum driveway width of 9.87 metres. Lot 3, representing the newly proposed lot, is proposed to have a minimum lot area of 6,472.45 m2, a minimum lot frontage of 44.50 metres, and a minimum pervious surface area of 58.86%.

If you wish to be notified of the decision of the Council of the Township of King regarding the proposed Zoning By-law Amendment, you must make a written request to the Clerk of the Township of King, 2585 King Road, King City, ON L7B 1A1, or by email at clerks@king.ca.
If a person or public body would otherwise have an ability to appeal the decision of the Township of King to the Ontario Land Tribunal but the person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to the Township of King before the by-law is passed, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision.
If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting, or make written submissions to the Township of King before the by-law is passed, the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Land Tribunal unless, in the opinion of the Tribunal, there are reasonable grounds to do so.
