King is urging residents planning on setting off fireworks over the long weekend to do so in a safe manner.
Fireworks are only permitted for sale within the Township on Victoria Day or Canada Day and for a period of seven days prior to each of the mentioned holidays.
Setting off fireworks on a residential family property is only allowed on Canada Day or Victoria day or the two days immediately preceding and following these days.
