Apply to be a vendor, sponsor, join the parade, enter Battle of the Bands or submit an online donation to the fireworks show

Township of King, Ont.— Calling all local artisans, food truck operators and entertainers! King Township is inviting you to participate in one its signature events: the Nobleton Victoria Day Fair and Fireworks Show, presented by Tim Hortons. The event will be held on Monday, May 19 from noon to dusk at the Dr. William Laceby Community Centre and Arena, located at 15 Old King Road in Nobleton.

Enjoyed by the community for more than 50 years, this family-friendly event attracts thousands of attendees who enjoy live entertainment, mid-way rides and games, inflatables, a parade, fireworks show and a variety of food and retail vendors.

Don’t miss out on the fun, or the opportunity to attract loyal new customers and sell your products! Market your business in a unique and interactive way and build brand recognition in the Township of King and beyond by applying to be an event vendor or sponsor.

How to apply to be a vendor

Vendors get a 10x10 foot space at the event venue and can choose from half-day (12p.m. to 4p.m.) and full-day (12p.m. to dusk) options. Food trucks will be accommodated with an 8'x35' vending area. Fees start at $100 (plus HST) for profit vendors and $300 (plus HST) for food truck vendors. A $35 (plus HST) half-day option is available to non-profit organizations.

Visit king.ca/NobletonVictoriaDay to apply online or download the vendor package. Vendor space at this event is limited. To be considered, complete the vendor application form online or via email to events@king.ca by Friday, Apr. 25.

Sponsorship opportunities to showcase your businesses are also available, with a package to fit every budget. Choose from entertainment and firework sponsorship to being a friend of the celebration. New this year! Enter Battle of the Bands

Play in a (family-friendly) band? Register online for the chance to be selected for our first-ever ‘Battle of the Bands’ competition at the Nobleton Victoria Day event on Monday, May 19. Competing bands will each play a 15-minute set live on stage and the winner (selected by the audience) will secure a spot as the opening act for #KingTownship’s Canada Day event headliner. All genres welcome. Ages 16+. Registration closes on April 25 and bands selected to play will be notified by May 1. Questions? Email events@king.ca. Donate online to support the fireworks show

The Victoria Day event culminates with its signature fireworks show, beginning at dusk. Credited as one of the best Victoria Day fireworks displays in Ontario, it is also the largest publicly funded show and relies on donations from business and residents. Donations can be made online at king.ca/OnlineServices. Tax receipts will be provided for donations of $10 or more.

Join the parade

Make it a festive start to your day by watching the annual Nobleton Victoria Day parade. The parade begins at the Nobleton Library (Sheardown Drive and Highway 27) at 11 a.m. and ends at Old King Road. From the library, the parade travels south on Highway 27, turning east on Hill Farm Road and south on Wellar Avenue. The parade then weaves its way down Weller Avenue connecting with King Road. The parade then turns west on King Road and ends at Old King Road. Click here to register online.
