King asking residents to not park on roads as snow cleanup continues

Residents are being asked to not park on roadways as winter maintenance crews continue removing the more than 30 centimetres of snow that has fallen over recent days.

The cleanup of Main Street in Schomberg is tentatively scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 2 and Friday, Feb. 3. Work may begin as early as 3 a.m. No-parking restrictions are in effect from 2 a.m. – 6 a.m. and also during winter maintenance operations.

Crews will also be completing snow removal from cul-de-sacs and business areas and Schomberg this week.

Snow removal in King City, Nobleton and other areas of the Township will follow after.
