The Township of King's 2023 Road Improvement Program has been awarded to Lisbon Paving Co. Limited and the contractor is scheduled to start construction activities on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, weather permitting. The project is anticipated to be complete by November, 2023 (up to base course asphalt).
The five (5) road segments included in the 2023 Road Improvement Program include:
- 19th Sideroad from 11th Concession to 10th Concession (September).
- Carrying Place Trail Drainage Improvements, west of Weston Road, north of #16576 (September/October).
- Keele Street from Woodchoppers Lane to Edward Ave. (September/October).
- Jane Street from Woodchoppers Lane to Edward Ave. (September/October).
- Jane Street from Davis Drive (Highway 9), to South Canal Bank Road (September/October).
Access for Emergency Services, Student Transportation Services, Waste Collection, and Postal Services will be maintained at all times.
