The Township of King has initiated a review and analysis of its stormwater infrastructure. This will result in the development of a Comprehensive Stormwater Master Plan to support the Township growth scenarios outlined in the Township’s Official Plan. This Master Plan will provide analysis to ensure that the required level-of-service can be provided throughout the Township. A Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (Class EA) has been undertaken to guide this process.
A key component of a Class EA is public consultation. As stormwater runoff directly affects the residents of the Township, it is crucial to understand the current issues faced by residents to plan and develop the resolutions that benefit everyone. We invite you to participate in the Public Information Centre (PIC) to familiarize yourself with the project and voice questions and concerns.
Due to COVID-19, the PIC will be conducted virtually. You will have the opportunity to learn about the project and ask questions, share your thoughts and opinions. Your input will ensure that the adequate stormwater infrastructure resolutions can be put in place to support the growth in the Township.
