Township of King, Ont. — Calling all local artisans and food truck operators! King Township is inviting you to participate in one of its biggest events of the year: the Victoria Day Fair and Fireworks Show, presented by Tim Hortons. The event will be held on Monday, May 20 from noon to dusk at the Dr. William Laceby Community Centre and Arena, located at 15 Old King Road in Nobleton.

This family-friendly, quintessential kick-off to summer has been enjoyed by the community for more than 50 years. Each year, the event attracts over 2,000 attendees who enjoy live entertainment, mid-way rides and games, inflatables, a parade, fireworks show and (of course!) a variety of food and retail vendors.

Don’t miss out on the fun – or the opportunity to attract loyal new customers and sell your products! Market your business in a unique and interactive way and build brand recognition in the Township of King and beyond by applying to be an event vendor or sponsor.

How to apply to be a vendor

Vendors get a 10x10 foot space at the event venue and can choose from half-day (12p.m. to 4p.m.) and full-day (12p.m. to dusk) options. Food trucks will be accommodated with an 8x35 foot vending area. Fees start at $100 (plus HST) for profit vendors and $300 (plus HST) for food truck vendors. A $35 (plus HST) half-day option is available to non-profit organizations.

Visit king.ca/nobletonvictoriaday to download the vendor package. Vendor space at this event is limited. To be considered, complete the vendor application form and email to events@king.ca by Friday, Apr. 5.

Choose to be a sponsor

Sponsorship opportunities to showcase your businesses are also available, with a package to fit every budget. Choose from stage, entertainment and firework sponsorship to being a friend of the celebration. For sponsorship levels and recognition, view the sponsorship package at king.ca/nobletonvictoriaday.

Donate online to support the fireworks show

The Victoria Day event culminates with its signature fireworks show, beginning at dusk. Credited as one of the best Victoria Day fireworks displays in Ontario, it is also the largest publicly funded show and relies on donations from business and residents. New this year, donations can be made online at king.ca/onlineservices. Tax receipts will be provided for donations of $10 or more.

Mayor Steve Pellegrini

“Let's kick off the summer season together – come celebrate Victoria Day with us in King Township! I encourage local artisans and food truck operators to join us as vendors or sponsors, adding to the vibrancy of King while promoting your business. As we enjoy live entertainment, midway rides and a fabulous fireworks show, I urge everyone to attend the official display instead of setting off your own fireworks. You can also now donate at king.ca/onlineservices to help make this our biggest fireworks display yet!
