Do you have beloved items in need of repair? Give them a second chance by bringing your broken items to the Repair Café at the King City Seniors Centre, held in partnership by York Region and Newmakeit.
This free event will connect you with volunteer fixers willing to share their skills and tools.
Each item repaired at a Repair Café is:
- One less item wasted
- One less item purchased
- One more proud fixer
- One more smiling face
Since 2018, with the support of community partners and volunteers, York Region Repair Cafés have fixed over 1,120 items.
