- Contributing to landscaping design and construction for new parks, infrastructure improvements, and tree plantings.
- Maintaining over 222 acres of parkland and more than 506 acres of passive open space.
- Managing a Township-wide street beautification program.
- Collecting garbage in parks, trails, and open spaces.
- Conducting winter snow removal at Township facilities.
- Running a Horticultural Program, including annual displays planted throughout community cores.
- Consulting with the community on new and upcoming parks projects.

Off-Leash Dog Parks
King Township's two off-leash dog areas are secured, fenced-in spaces where dogs and their families can get exercise outdoors, socialize and roam free safely, and are separated from playgrounds and other park facilities. The off-leash dog parks are located at the southwest corner of King Road and Keele Street (at the end of Hogan Court) in King City and at Tasca Park located at 49 Park Heights Trail in Nobleton.
