Water Use By-Law
Following outdoor watering restrictions helps ensure there is enough water available for daily household use, businesses and essential services, long-term care facilities, and emergency response services such as firefighting.
Under King Township’s Water Use By-Law #2014-73 residents may only use water outdoors on specific days based on their municipal address:
- Even numbered street numbers may use water on the even days of the calendar month between the hours 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. or 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
- Odd numbered street numbers may use water on the odd days of the calendar month between the hours of 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. or 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
