Earth Hour is a global event where people are encouraged to turn off non-essential lights for one hour to raise awareness about climate change and energy conservation.

Make the most of Earth Hour:

  • Have a candlelit dinner in the dark
  • Go on a night hike or walk
  • Star Gaze in your backyard
  • Play a boardgame
  • Do yoga or meditate in the dark
  • Pick up litter in your neighbourhood or register for the King Community Clean Up during Earth Week (April 20 to 25) at king.ca/CommunityCleanUp
