Earth Hour is a global event where people are encouraged to turn off non-essential lights for one hour to raise awareness about climate change and energy conservation.
Make the most of Earth Hour:
- Have a candlelit dinner in the dark
- Go on a night hike or walk
- Star Gaze in your backyard
- Play a boardgame
- Do yoga or meditate in the dark
- Pick up litter in your neighbourhood or register for the King Community Clean Up during Earth Week (April 20 to 25) at king.ca/CommunityCleanUp
