Parking Questions

Residents want information about parking in King. To find out about paying or disputing parking tickets, or about on-street parking rules and permits, visit king.ca/parking.

Street Sweeping

The Township of King street sweeping program is underway. Sand and debris are swept from King’s roads to prevent materials from clogging the storm sewers and to provide a safe and clean roadway for all users. The scheduled dates and locations are:

  • King City: April 6 to 14
  • Nobleton: April 17 to 21
  • Schomberg: April 24 to 28

Residents are asked to not park or block residential streets to avoid blocking street sweeping operations. Visit king.ca/streetsweeping.

Yard Waste

Yard waste collection in King started the week of April 10 and ends the week of December 4. Material should be placed at the curb in paper organic yard waste bags, or open rigid containers, clearly marked as yard waste, before 7 a.m. on the collection day specified in the waste calendar, available at king.ca/waste.
