The mailing of the water bill due on December 18, 2024 (for the period of September to October 2024) was delayed due to the Canada Post strike and—as regular service resumes—residents may just be receiving this bill in the mail now.
The penalty for late payments has not yet been applied and residents who have missed their payment are encouraged to pay the amount owing (without the 5% late charge) immediately.
At King Township’s upcoming Council Meeting on Monday, Jan. 27, a report will be presented recommending waiving the late fee for P5 billing. This is pending Council approval.
Water bills for the sixth period (November to December 2024) will be issued the week of January 20 and due February 26.
To avoid missing their payment, residents are encouraged to register for eBilling to receive their water bill directly via email and enroll in the Pre-Authorized Debit Program (PAD) for automatic withdrawals.
