Take Notice that the Council of the Corporation of the Township of King intends to consider amending a by-law under Section 36 of the Planning Act to remove the Holding (H) Symbol for the lands described below. The earliest Council will consider passage of the by-law is the Council Meeting on Monday, April 27, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. The purpose of this notice is to inform you of this intent and to invite you to hear Council’s decision on the matter.

The subject lands comprise of an approved site plan (SPD-19-64) with overall site area of approximately 0.5 hectares (1.2 acres) and lot frontage along King Road (88 metres) as located on the northeast corner of the intersection of King Road and King Boulevard within the northeast portion of the settlement area of the Village of King City. A total of 26 freehold common element condominium townhouse units are proposed.
The applicable zoning of the total landholding is Core Area-King City – Holding - Exception 18 (CAK-18(H))” and “Core Area-King City – Holding – Exception 19 (CAK-19(H))” Zone to Schedule ‘A4’ of By-law No. 2017-66 (Schomberg and King City Urban Area), pursuant to the approval of amending Zoning By-law No. 2023-094 on December 11, 2023.
The removal of the Holding (H) Symbol will facilitate the development of the lands in the manner intended by the approved site plan and will implement the applicable zoning standards on the property.
