Take Notice that the Township of King has received complete applications for proposed revisions to a draft approved plan of subdivision and amendments to the Township of King Zoning By-law 2017-66 (Schomberg and King City Urban Areas), pursuant to Section 51 and Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter P.13, as amended, to facilitate development on the properties as outlined below.
The Planning Division has commenced processing the application. A Council Public Planning Meeting will be scheduled and held at a later date, with formal notice being provided pursuant to the statutory requirements of the Planning Act.
If you have received this notice as an owner of a property that contains seven (7) or more residential units, please post this notice in a visible location to all residents of the land.

Proposed Changes
The subject lands comprise a draft approved plan of residential subdivision within the Village of King City, as located on the north side of King Road and east of Jane Street. The landholdings consist of multiple parcels totaling 41.74 hectares (103.14 acres) in area and are municipally known as 2710 King Road and 13371 Jane Street and legally described as Part of the West Half of Lots 6, 7 and 8, Concession 4. Existing development on the lands includes a detached dwelling.
The applications propose revisions to an OLT Draft Approved Plan of Subdivision (19T-06K01) and amendments to Zoning By-law 2017-66 (Schomberg and King City Urban Areas) to implement applicable zoning standards on the lands to facilitate the development of the Plan.
Proposed revisions include realignment of the main access road from King Road (and other revisions to the proposed road network); reconfiguration of Blocks ('Medium Density' Block) within the plan for the development of townhouse dwelling units; and, revisions to overall lot widths within the Plan (resulting in two (2) additional detached dwelling lots) in the northeast portion of the Plan.
