Take Notice that the Township of King has received a complete application for a proposed Zoning By-law Amendment and Revised Plan of Subdivision, in accordance with Section 34 and Section 51 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter P.13, as amended, concerning Part of Lot 6, Concession 9, Township of King, being all of PIN 03353-0310.
The Planning Division has commenced processing the application. A Council Public Planning Meeting will be scheduled and held at a later date, with formal notice being provided pursuant to the statutory requirements of the Planning Act.

Proposed Changes
The proposal includes a Revised Draft Plan of Subdivision Application for Phase 3B of the previously approved Plan of Subdivision (File 19T-12K01). The Revised Draft Plan Application contemplates the consolidation of the originally proposed 18 bungalow residential lots and associated open space/remnant blocks into a single development block to facilitate the ultimate development of 20 live-work townhouse units.
To support the Revised Draft Plan of Subdivision Application, a Zoning By-law Amendment Application has also been submitted to permit, among other matters, the addition of permitted uses (townhouse dwellings, accessory uses, home occupation uses, and live/work uses); establishment of site-specific definitions and permissions for live/work units; and introduction of site-specific development standards related to lot frontage, setbacks, building height, parking requirements, and access provisions.

If you wish to be notified of the decision of the Council of the Township of King regarding the proposed Zoning By-law Amendment or Revised Plan of Subdivision, you must make a written request to the Clerk of the Township of King, 2585 King Road, King City, ON L7B 1A1, or by email at clerks@king.ca.
Preserving Your Appeal Rights
If a person or public body would otherwise have an ability to appeal the decision of the Township of King to the Ontario Land Tribunal but the person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to the Township of King before the Zoning By-law Amendment or Revised Plan of Subdivision is passed, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision.
If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting, or make written submissions to the Township of King before the Zoning By-law Amendment or Revised Plan of Subdivision is passed, the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Land Tribunal unless, in the opinion of the Tribunal, there are reasonable grounds to do so.
