Take Notice that the Township of King has received a complete application for a proposed Zoning By-law Amendment and Draft Plan of Subdivision, in accordance with Section 34 and Section 51 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter P.13, as amended, concerning 5885, 5905 King Road, Nobleton, in the Township of King.
The Planning Division has commenced processing the application. A Council Public Planning Meeting will be scheduled and held at a later date, with formal notice being provided pursuant to the statutory requirements of the Planning Act.
If you have received this notice as an owner of a property that contains seven (7) or more residential units, please post this notice in a visible location to all residents of the land.

Proposed Changes
The Zoning By-law Amendment application proposes to re-zone the subject lands to a site specific ‘Residential Townhouse’ (R3) Exception zone and amend the development provisions of the by-law, including lot area, lot frontage, yard setbacks and height. The Draft Plan of Subdivision proposes to create a single block of land for the townhouse dwellings.
The development proposes a total of 59 townhouse units consisting of 30 front-access units, 13 rear-access units, and 16 units designed in a back‑to‑back arrangement with front access. Vehicular access will be obtained using a private condominium laneway.

If you wish to be notified of the decision of the Council of the Township of King regarding the proposed Zoning By-law Amendment or Draft Plan of Subdivision, you must make a written request to the Clerk of the Township of King, 2585 King Road, King City, ON L7B 1A1, or by email at clerks@king.ca.
If a person or public body would otherwise have an ability to appeal the decision of the Township of King to the Ontario Land Tribunal but the person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to the Township of King before the Zoning By-law Amendment is passed or Draft Plan of Subdivision is adopted, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision.
If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting, or make written submissions to the Township of King before the Zoning By-law Amendment is passed or Draft Plan of Subdivision is adopted, the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Land Tribunal unless, in the opinion of the Tribunal, there are reasonable grounds to do so.
