King is pleased to offer many fun-filled drop-in programs at the Municipal Centre at 2585 King Rd., King City.
King’s Drop-in Programs Starting Up in March
King is excited to have a variety of programs starting the last week of March.
From Playball to drop-in programs, there is something for everyone to come out and enjoy.
Programs are taking place throughout the township, including age groups from youth to seniors. More opportunities will be added and included in the Recreation Guide which you can find here.
Drop-in Sports at the King Township Municipal Centre
We are also welcoming the community back to drop-in sports at the King Township Municipal Centre. Programs are available for participants 13 and older for a cash fee of $5 a person. Current programs include pickleball, volleyball and basketball.

The schedule is:
- Pickleball: Sunday and Tuesday, 7 to 9 p.m. (until June 5 and May 24)
- Volleyball: Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. (until June 1)
- Basketball: Thursday from 8:30 to 10 p.m. (until May 26)
Artists’ Forum at the King Heritage & Cultural Centre
The King Heritage & Cultural Centre is presenting an Artists’ Forum, featuring artists from the International Women’s Day Art Show, on Saturday, March 26 at 1:30 p.m.
Women artists from King and the GTA will discuss their artwork, including their inspiration, techniques and finished products. A moderated question and answer period will follow the artists’ presentations. All are welcomed to attend.
