Hydrant flushing in the communities of Nobleton, Schomberg and Ansnorveldt will start on September 29 with completion by December 1. Flushing is a preventative maintenance process that improves water quality by clearing sediment buildup in water distribution system piping. The process does not affect the safety of your water.
While flushing is occurring in your area, you may experience low pressure and/or discolouration. Low-pressure will be resolved immediately after flushing is complete. To correct any water discolouration, run your cold water tap until water clarity returns.
