King Township is a paradise for recreationists, with over 222 acres of parkland, featuring playgrounds, splashpads,tennis/pickleball courts, skateparks, baseball diamonds, soccer fields and off-leash dog parks. A recreation facility is in each village, with varying amenities such as ice rinks, community halls, curling pad, fitness centre as well as a turf fieldhouse, lap pool and leisure pool at the new, zero carbon Zancor Centre (opening January 2025).
