Township of King, Ont.— Foodies: for two delicious weeks, savour exclusive prix fixe lunch and dinner menus plus special promotions at some of King’s best restaurants during the winter edition of the bi-annual, 2025 Taste of King event. The two-week culinary celebration runs from Saturday, Feb. 22 to Saturday, Mar. 8 and spotlights the Township’s renowned restaurants and many hidden gems in King City, Nobleton and Schomberg.
From fine dining to causal bites, indulge in the best local dishes and seasonal specialties. Restaurants include Locale, Diner King, Route 27 Gastropub & Venue, Historia Cantina, Craft Kitchen & Beer Bar, Port Soiree, Holland Marsh Wineries, Pine Farms Orchard, The Roost Café, Si, Lo So, The Schomberg Pub & Patio, Misoya Sushi, Tat Doner and more. Participating restaurants and menus continue to be added to this event and are available at king.ca/TasteOfKing. Secure a table in advance by making a reservation online or by calling the restaurant directly.
Partly funded by Central Counties Tourism, Taste of King provides economic support to local businesses during the slower seasons—fall and mid-winter—while offering foodies a chance to discover new favourites and revisit beloved spots. The inaugural Taste of King event ran October 26 to November 9, 2024, and featured 14 diverse eating establishments. This events puts King on the map as a destination for food lovers while also supporting the Township’s agricultural sector as many of the featured menus incorporate fresh, locally sourced ingredients from King’s farms, including those in the renowned Holland Marsh.
