Residents can do business online or in-person at the King Township Municipal Centre

Canada Post transitioned from a full national strike to rotating strikes as of Saturday, Oct. 11. Uncertainty and instability in the postal service will continue and customers should expect continued delays and service disruptions. All service guarantees are suspended until further notice.

Residents should expect delays in mail service to and from the Township of King. This includes, but is not limited to, the issuance of water bills, public planning and heritage notices and by-law infractions.

Garbage bag tags, appliance tags and bulky item stickers are available for pick-up in person at the King Township Municipal Centre and can be pre-ordered online. Tags may also be purchased at the Trisan Centre in Schomberg or any of the four King Township Public Library branches as a walk-in purchase.

Residents can continue to do business with the Township in-person, Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the King Township Municipal Centre, located at 2585 King Road, or online 24/7 at king.ca/OnlineServices.

Mailing of the P4 water bill has been delayed and is due on October 23:

The mailing of the water bill due on October 23 (for the fourth period of July and August) is delayed. There is no change to the due date and penalty will be applied to late payments. The penalty charge for a late water payment is 5% and it is added on the first day after the due date.

To avoid missing your payment, residents are encouraged to register for eBilling to receive their water bill directly via email and enroll in the Pre-Authorized Debit Program (PAD) for automatic withdrawals.

Residents are also encouraged to monitor their water usage online at my-kngon.sensus-analytics.ca. Sign up to: access your daily water consumption, receive warnings of high consumption and potential problems, and track your history and usage.

For more information, including links to enrolment, visit king.ca/WaterBilling.
