King Township’s Ask King Planning online service allows home and business owners, realtors and architects to schedule an appointment to meet one-on-one with a Township planner, rather than waiting in line at the Township’s Municipal Centre.
The online service is available 24/7 at king.ca/askkingplanning and offers users a personalized opportunity to connect with a Township planner either in-office, by phone, email or online video call. By using the simple online booking system, individuals can select a time that works for them and choose their preferred method of contact, eliminating the need to wait in line or navigate phone systems. The system makes accessing planning information and assistance easier and more convenient than ever before. During the one-on-one meeting, a Planner will help answer frequently asked questions about planning matters relating to your property or other lands in King, Official Plan policies, zoning bylaws, land development or environmental policies.
The service is intended for inquiries of a general nature and is available to anyone with questions or comments related to planning in King Township. Whether you're seeking guidance on specific property issues, need support navigating the planning and development process, or have questions on behalf of a client, the Ask King Planning service is here to help.
The service is not intended for inquiries about an existing proposal or application which has already been submitted to the Township. Inquiries of that nature should be directed to the planner managing the specific file.
Before speaking with a planner, individuals are asked to complete an intake questionnaire to ensure that the planner is fully prepared to assist them effectively. Following the service, participants will have the opportunity to provide feedback through a brief questionnaire, helping King Township continually improve and enhance the service.
