Are you between the ages of 13 and 18? Looking for volunteer hours for your high school requirement or trying to land your first part-time job? Want to explore a new activity outside of school? Join King Township and the Mayor’s Youth Action Team (MYAT) at the Youth Opportunity Fair on Friday, May 1 from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at Zancor Centre, located at 1600 15th Sideroad, King City.
Enjoy free food and refreshments (while quantities last), drop-in sports, door prizes and meet with local businesses and community groups specializing in a range of interests, from arts, drama, sports, education, gardening, job skills and cosmetics. Speak one-on-one with King Township staff about environmental initiatives, recreation and aquatic programs and jobs opportunities, and meet with representatives from York Regional Police and York Region Educational Services.
