Learn all about circular economy with hands-on activities and fun for families during the summer series learning events. The kickoff event features hands-on stations, demos, and family-friendly activities, including:
- Composting and Soil Zone: Observe a live compost demo, learn about soil health and build your own compost starter
- Farm-to-Table Loop Zone: Go on a guided tour of Boreal Farms' system to learn about the Food to waste to compost to soil to food cycle
- Upcycling Maker Zone: Visit drop-in stations to build planters from containers, fabric reuse crafts and wood/MDF mini builds
- Digital Impact Zone: Waste tracking dashboard and opportunity to sign up for the School and Family Challenges
- Circular Challenge Launch Area: Starter kits and badges available for the K-12 challenge and Family Challenge
