Are you interested in running in the 2026 municipal election? The Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO) is offering a series of virtual workshops for people thinking about running for municipal office in the election on October 26.
Focused specifically on underrepresented candidates, these 90-minute workshops provide useful insights and strategies to support you in getting your name on the ballot.
The upcoming sessions take place on February 4 from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. and on April 8 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. While these workshops do offer a focus on individuals from underrepresented communities, all are welcome. To register, visit: amo.on.ca.
