The next Municipal and School Board Election is on Monday, October 26, 2026. The Candidate Nomination Filing Period began on May 1 and ends on August 21 at 2 p.m.

Get Ready to Vote

It’s never too early to make sure you’re prepared for election day. Visit the Voter Registration online tool to check and update your voter information in advance to ensure you're on the Voters List. Residents who have recently turned 18, moved or changed their name might need to update their information to ensure they are on the list. 

If you are not on the list, you may not receive your Voter Information Letter.

    Have Your Say, Your Way

    King Township has introduced online voting for the 2026 Municipal and School Board Election, providing voters the ability to vote conveniently from anywhere for the first time. This means that King Township voters can now choose from one of the following options to cast their ballot this election: 

    • Online advance voting
    • In-person advance voting
    • Election Day (in-person only)

    Voters will receive their Voter Information Letter in September that contains important information about how to vote including their voting options, voting location (in-person), and their unique online voting PIN.

This includes ensuring that Municipal Elections are accessible to everyone. All voting locations will be accessible, and entrances will be well marked with the universal access symbol and within close proximity of the parking lot.
