With summer’s swift approach the time left to register your camper is running out
Township of King, Ont. (May 21, 2026) — Spots are filling fast for King Township’s summer camps, and there’s little time left to secure a place before the camp season kicks off on June 29. Whether your child is a baker or builder, an artist, animal lover or fan of superheroes, science and sports, there is a summer camp experience waiting for them!
Camps run daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. One-week sessions are available until September 4 across King City, Nobleton and Schomberg, with flexible drop‑off and pick‑up, extended care at select locations, and an optional hot lunch program. Inclusion support is also available by request to help ensure camps are welcoming and accessible for everyone.
To make last-minute planning easier, we’ve sorted the remaining camps by community—so you can quickly find what’s still available near you:
Nobleton
At Tasca Park, campers enjoy outdoor amenities like sports fields, courts, a splash pad and green space, choosing from a Multisport camp or Summer Sizzle fun, featuring games, sports, arts and crafts and water play—all outdoors. At the Dr. William Laceby Nobleton Community Centre and Arena, campers make hearty snacks, healthy meals and delicious desserts at Cooking camp, with weekly trips to Tasca Park for splash pad time. Bonus: the newly revitalized Nobleton Park is slated to open this summer!
Camps like Animal Kingdom, Forest Friends and Little Green Thumbs located at Cold Creek Conservation Area focus on nature exploration and environmental learning with mini hikes. Kids learn proper shooting form and create targets in an Archery camp or go on an Outdoor Adventure shelter building and geocaching. Campers also explore up to 40 feet of dynamic fun on the high ropes and climbing elements in Rocks and Ropes or enjoy classic Summer Sizzle fun with games, crafts, water play and active outdoor experiences.
King City
In Art camp at the King Heritage & Cultural Centre, children explore clay, painting, collage and collaborative projects in a historic setting surrounded by museum collections and parkland.
Zancor Centre offers a high-energy mix for all interests—from drills and scrimmages at Soccer camp to imaginative play in camp Superhero, along with Summer Sizzle fun featuring games, sports, arts and crafts, swimming, and outdoor activities, plus a field trip to Cold Creek Conservation Area for ages 7 to 13. Bonus: Two-week swim lessons are also offered as a convenient add-on for campers, with camp staff escorting children to and from lessons during the camp day—making it easier for families to fit swim instruction into their summer routine.
At the King Township Municipal Centre, campers play basketball, soccer, volleyball and floor hockey at Multisport camp, or build skills on the court in Volleyball camp, focusing on drills and gameplay.
Schomberg
At the Schomberg Community Hall, children make hearty snacks, healthy meals and delicious desserts at Cooking camp or enjoy Summer Sizzle fun, featuring games, sports, arts and crafts and water play. In a unique Under the Sea camp kids build robotic ocean creatures using RoboThink bricks.
In Tiny Twisters camp at Trisan Centre, little ones build foundational gymnastics skills, with themed days, crafts, games and outdoor play.
