Join the King Environmental Action Team (KEAT), the Lake Simcoe South Master Gardeners and the Schomberg Horticulture Society at on May 9 from 11 a.m. to noon for Heirloom Tomato Planter – A Tiny Climate Solution.
By the end of this interactive workshop you'll walk away with a brand-new heirloom tomato planter and know everything you need to help your tiny climate solution thrive. Learn about the benefits of healthy soil, mindful watering, natural pest management techniques and which companion plants will create a balanced ecosystem.
This environmental workshop takes place during the Schomberg Horticultural Society's annual plant sale on May 9 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Schomberg Community Farm. Stop by to pick out the perfect plants to complete your garden (and complement your tomato plant). Please consider parking at the Schomberg Fair Grounds parking lot and making to short five minute walk to the Farm.
