King Township residents who requested a smaller 240‑litre recycling cart in place of their current 360‑litre cart will see exchanges take place from Tuesday, March 10 to Friday, March 13, following regular recycling collection days. Exchanges will occur between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.
Please leave your existing 360‑litre recycling carts at the curb for up to five days after your regular collection day to allow crews enough time to complete the exchange. Due to the size of the service area, carts may not be swapped on the same day as collection.
If a cart is not accessible or properly placed at the curb, exchanges will be rescheduled for the next bi‑weekly recycling collection week.
Exchanges will only be made if you completed the original request form and confirmed your exchange with Circular Materials by the February 13 deadline. If you submitted an original request form but did not provide confirmation and/or correct address details by the February 13 deadline, you will be moved to a second phase cart exchange, and further information will be provided in the coming weeks.
