Residents can do business online or in-person at the King Township Municipal Centre

Due to the Canada Post national strike, which began on Thursday, Sep. 25, mail service to and from King Township is delayed. This includes, but is not limited to, the issuance of water bills, public planning and heritage notices and by-law infractions.

Garbage bag tags, appliance tags and bulky item stickers are available for pick-up in person at the King Township Municipal Centre and can be pre-ordered online. Tags may also be purchased at the Trisan Centre in Schomberg or any of the four King Township Public Library branches as a walk-in purchase.

Residents can continue to do business with the Township in-person, Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the King Township Municipal Centre, located at 2585 King Road, or online 24/7 at king.ca/OnlineServices.

The P4 water bill has been delayed due to the strike:

The mailing of the water bill due on October 23 (for the fourth period of July and August) is delayed. To avoid missing your payment, residents are encouraged to register for eBilling to receive their water bill directly via email and enroll in the Pre-Authorized Debit Program (PAD) for automatic withdrawals.

Residents are also encouraged to monitor their water usage online at my-kngon.sensus-analytics.ca. Sign up to: access your daily water consumption, receive warnings of high consumption and potential problems, and track your history and usage.

For more information, including links to enrolment, visit king.ca/WaterBilling.

  • Call to get the amount you owe over the phone.
  • Pick up a print copy of your water bill at the King Township Municipal Centre (free of charge).
  • Email serviceking@king.ca to receive a copy of your bill via email.
