Attend a meaningful concert featuring Indigenous musicians, speakers and drummers at the King Heritage and Cultural Centre on Tuesday, Sept. 30 from 6 to 8 p.m. to commemorate National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day.
Tour the museum’s Indigenous artifact collection, view the new Truth and Reconciliation Mural, and design your own stone to be added to the Indigenous Medicine Garden.

Closure Notice
The King Township Municipal Centre will be closed on Tuesday, Sept. 30 to observe National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. ServiceKING will reopen on Wednesday, Oct.1 at 8:30 a.m. Recreation facilities and libraries remain open on September 30.
Essential services, such as fire and emergency response and by-law and enforcement services, will continue uninterrupted. During the closure, calls regarding an urgent Township matter requiring immediate attention will be connected to the after-hours answering service.
