The King Township Municipal Centre will be closed effective 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 23 to observe Christmas and the holiday season and will reopen at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 2.
Essential services, such as fire and emergency response, will continue uninterrupted. By-law and enforcement services will operate throughout the closure with the exception of December 24, 25, 26, 31, and January 1.
There will be no waste collection on Thursday, Dec. 25 (Christmas Day) and Thursday, Jan. 1 (New Year’s Day).
Waste collection schedules will shift ahead one day. King Township recreation facilities and libraries have varying hours of operation over the December Break and will be closed on all statutory holidays.
