The TTC and YRT are working together to develop a new 5-Year Fare Policy and 10-Year Fare Collection Outlook.  The TTC and YRT are hosting a Virtual Town Hall to cover the following topics:

  • Overview of policy goals, such as equity, affordability, revenue and ridership
  • Fare policy options based on feedback from the first two phases of the consultation process
  • Limits and opportunities in the current fare structure affecting fare policy decision-making

The virtual Town Hall is taking place on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. via Zoom. Project information and access on the day of event are available at yrt.ca/FareReview.

Pre-registration for the event is not required but recommended through this link.

Input collected during the Virtual Town Hall will be incorporated into a final 5-Year Fare Policy recommendation report, which will be presented to York Regional Council in Spring 2022.
