Fall is the perfect time to start a worm bin to have 'black gold' ready for spring planting. Join us for a fun workshop hosted by Cathy’s Crawly Composters to learn about worms and vermicomposting - a viable solution for anywhere without space for outdoor composting or access to an organic collection program to turn food scraps and paper into nature's finest soil amendment. Registered participants will be entered into a raffle to win a Worm Composting Kit! For ages 4+
Please dress for the weather as this workshop is scheduled to be outside. In the event of inclement weather the workshop will be moved indoors at the Cold Creek Conservation Area Education Centre.
This workshop is a part of Night at the Creepy Creek! (Requires separate registration if interested).
