Township recreation facilities and libraries will be closed to observe the Easter holiday on the following days:
Friday, Apr. 3 (Good Friday)
Sunday, Apr. 5 (Easter)
Monday, Apr. 6 (Easter Monday)
The King Township Municipal Centre will be closed effective 4:30p.m. on Thursday, Apr. 2 until Monday, Apr. 6, inclusive. Service King will reopen at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Apr. 7.
Essential services, such as fire and emergency response, will continue uninterrupted. Bylaw Services will be available Saturday, Apr. 4 and Sunday, Apr. 5.
Waste collection scheduled for Friday, Apr. 3 will shift ahead one day to Saturday, Apr. 4.
Registered recreation programs are not scheduled on these dates. Drop-in recreational programming will be available on Saturday, Apr. 4. To view schedules, visit king.ca/DropInPrograms.
During the closure, calls regarding an urgent Township matter requiring immediate attention will be connected to the after-hours answering service.
