Township of King, Ont.—The Township of King is making building services easier to find and use online with the launch of new building web pages at www.king.ca/building.

The new web pages provide enhanced information and service to customers, including a new online building inspection booking form.

With the online options, residents, developers and others can:

  • Complete a COVID-19 screening to ensure their safety and the safety of King employees during building inspections
  • Provide all relevant contact information as part of the inspection request to ensure the Township can notify applicants that their request has been received
  • Book inspections while parked in a vehicle on a mobile device, onsite at a building or at home without making a phone call or sending an email message.

In addition to the online inspection booking form, the Building Division web pages also have these features:

  • Pre-assembled application guides and packages by type
  • User’s guide on the application process, including a flow chart
  • Updated fees section
  • Online security deposit waiver
  • Resources and contact information.

Future additions to the Building Division web pages include provincially mandated private sewage system maintenance program updates and an online application for security deposit refunds.
