Single tickets ($275) and tickets for a table of 10 ($2,500) are available to purchase online now through February 26 at king.ca/MayorsGala.
In an ode to King Township’s Local Legends – the 2026 Mayor’s Cultural Gala will honour and celebrate the people, places and stories that define King Township. Enjoy an exquisite meal, activities including a photo booth, and live performances by Pianist Elliott Barenthin and the band Sensations.
The event will take place at The Manor Event Venue, located at 16750 Weston Road, with doors opening at 5:30 p.m. and a reception service that includes an antipasto bar. A plated dinner service with duo entree starts at 7 p.m. Guests will receive two complimentary, standard drink tickets. Two bottles of wine (one white, one red) are included at each table, and a top shelf cash bar is available. The event will also feature an exclusive silent auction, offering guests the chance to bid on exceptional items while making a meaningful impact in their community.
The 2026 Mayor’s Cultural Gala will serve as the inaugural induction ceremony for the King Township Sports Hall of Fame, marking a historic celebration of local athletic excellence. The Sports Hall of Fame, located at Zancor Centre outside the entrance to the Municipal Maintenance Athletic Centre, will honour the first class of inductees whose achievements have shaped King Township’s sporting legacy. This milestone moment highlights the Township’s commitment to recognizing the individuals and teams who inspire pride and community spirit.
Funds raised from the event will go towards supporting the important work of ASK and the King Heritage & Cultural Centre. This includes arts, culture, heritage-based programming, exhibitions, and special events, as well as the preservation and restoration of important heritage buildings.
The Mayor’s Cultural Gala is a biennial fundraising event, hosted by King Township in partnership with Arts Society King. The last gala event, held in February 2024, was a tremendous success raising $73,000 in support of arts, culture and heritage in King Township.
