Notice of guide rail improvements

Guide rail improvements on King Road, east of Warren Road and west of 7th Concession, are scheduled to start this month.

Description:

Guide rail improvements

• Remove, replace and repair rails that provide a barrier between the roadway and potentially hazardous situations
• This work will ensure guide rails meet current standards and increase safety for road users

Duration:

• October 2022 to January 2023
• As with all road construction projects, work may be rescheduled due to weather and York Region will provide advance notice where possible

Working hours

• Weekdays from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Lane restrictions

The road will remain open to through traffic; however, lane restrictions will be required to complete road improvements.
